Jim Peliotes, CEO

Jim joined Personal Care Products in 2014 with 25 years of experience in consumer products across a variety of product categories including personal healthcare and households products. Most recently, Jim spent 7 years at Ranir, LLC in senior leadership roles in both marketing and sales developing the oral care segment in private label and branded product portfolios. Jim also worked at Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 10 years in a variety of progressive North American and international marketing roles managing the Huggies, Kleenex, and Scott brands. In addition to Jim’s traditional CPG experience, Jim has worked for wellness/sporting goods companies like Easton-Bell Sports as their Fitness Business Unit Manager and Heelys (skate shoes) as their vice president of marketing. Jim holds a BA degree in Business Administration from Lakeland College and an MBA from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas.

Ann Springhetti, Vice President Marketing

Ann joined Personal Care Products in 2011. During this time, Ann has launched 10 new brands and numerous product segments in the Health & Beauty and Household/Automotive Cleaning categories. Her 25 years of marketing include a broad range of positions and responsibilities. She spent 14 years with Hallmark Cards, managing new business development, product management, innovation strategy, licensing, and retail marketing. Ann was an international buyer for Borders Books (Paperchase London), managing greeting cards, gift wrap, and gifts. She also has brand experience in the service industry, managing five brands for the second largest provider of early childhood education, Learning Care Group. Ann has a BBA from Western Michigan University, and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Karen Hooks, Vice President Sales

Karen joined Personal Care Products in 2016 with 25 years of experience in consumer packaged goods in both branded and private label. Most recently, Karen spent nearly 7 years at Freeman Beauty in progressive leadership roles in sales. At Freeman Beauty, Karen built a robust sales organization working with both domestic and international retail partners growing sales through new product distribution. Karen has also worked with The Village Company and Sarah Michaels where her success was driven by her expertise in personal care products. In addition to Food, Drug, Mass, Club, her experience includes, Beauty Supply and Department Stores. Karen holds a BA from Concordia University- Ann Arbor and an MBA from Oakland University.

John Engebretson, Vice President Operations and Supply Chain

John joined Personal Care Products in 2014 with 25 years of supply chain and operations experience from the automotive, transportation and CPG industries. John’s background includes Operations and Supply Chain roles at Ford Motor Company, Visteon, Alcoa, SPX Corporation and Wolverine Advanced Materials. Throughout his career, John has had a relentless focus on lowering the total acquisition cost of purchased materials, improving operational execution and driving enhancements to shareholder value. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from Michigan State University.

Jan Lower, Vice President Finance

Jan joined Personal Care Products in 2012 with 25 years of experience in consumer products across a variety of product categories including baby care and food products. Jan’s international experience includes foreign market development, acquisitions, joint ventures and distributor relations. Jan worked and lived abroad as an expatriate in Poland and Eastern Europe for 11 years with Gerber Products and RJR Nabisco. Jan holds a BBA degree in Accounting and an MBA from the Seidman School of Business at Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
